Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us here at Client ConneXion! While today is filled with chocolate, flowers, and all things lovely, we want to take a moment to share some ways you can show your customers some love this February 14th.

  • Learn about an aspect of their personal lives. Now, we don’t mean pry into their personal lives, but ask them what they like to do and connect it with buying a car/service. Encourage your salespeople to tie in customers’ hobbies into the car buying experience to show that your dealership is genuinely interested in selling them a quality car for their lifestyle.
  • Go above and beyond. If a customer is asking about a certain feature of a vehicle, have your salespeople go above and beyond in finding a vehicle that’s perfect for them. Going the extra mile is a great way to show your customers that they are valued and important to your dealership.
  • Send a Valentine. It may sound cheesy, but sending a quick handwritten note to your previous and current customers (yes, in the mail!) is a great way to reconnect and spread the love. Something as simple as, “We are so grateful for your business — have a great Valentine’s Day!” can go a long way. It does not have to be a special occasion, however, to send simple notes like this. Send out a few throughout the year to keep your customers feeling important and connected.

We hope the list above helps spark some simple ideas to integrate Valentine’s Day into your sales culture. Encourage your salespeople to spread the love today and everyday, as they can easily show a customer that they are appreciated by asking a simple question, going the extra mile, and sending a quick handwritten note.
