However, we rarely touch on the fact that you must invest in your employees – both intangibly and monetarily – in order to please your customers. Your employees are the first contact that many customers have with your dealership, and often serve as the last impression, as well. Below are a few ways to pour into your employees so it is reflected onto your customers:

  1. Invest in furthering their education. Research ways you can help your employees learn more about their field of work.
  2. Show your employees that they are valued by rewarding them when deserved. If they complete a huge project successfully, take your team out for a meal (or have one catered in the lounge). There are many ways you can show your appreciation.
  3. Host workshops. If you want your employees to accomplish certain tasks each day, be sure they know exactly what is expected of them. Host short workshops to give them examples and ideas.
