Trust us\u2026we really can talk all day about those topics. However, there is nothing quite as important as your demeanor when meeting with a customer in person. Face-to-face, you say? We may consider it old-fashioned nowadays, but how you carry on a conversation is important. We are so used to communicating from behind a computer or phone screen that sometimes we forget the value of simply talking to someone. Here are a few tips to remember when in a face-to-face meeting:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be inviting and welcoming.<\/li>\n<li>Relate to your customer.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t just talk about cars. Tie in personal stories with your conversation.<\/li>\n<li>Share your expertise. Your customer is there chatting with you because <em>you<\/em> are the expert. Share your knowledge and inform your customer \u2013 it\u2019s what they\u2019re there for!<\/li>\n<li>Ask your customer questions.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap up with a call-to-action. Ask the customer what you can do as far as next steps go.<\/li>\n<li>*Body language. We know this isn\u2019t necessarily a verbal tip, but the way you hold yourself \u2013 literally \u2013 can add to detract from a face-to-face conversation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We know how effective the use of technology can be when boosting your dealership to new heights.
